Resolving complaints with your movers
Unfortunately not ever move goes as smoothly as planned. No matter how hard we try sometimes things just go wrong anyway. Many unexpected variables exist and not every person moved ends up happy with their moving services company. The most common moving company complaints are in three categories:
-
The most common is that the moving company was late or did not arrive on the scheduled move date.
-
The actual cost of the final bill exceeded the original move cost estimates by more than 10%
-
The moving company lost or damaged your goods and you are unable to resolve with them direct.
Most claims or disputes can be settled with between two reasonable parties with the desire to clear things up. It is always in your best interest to try to solve these disputes directly with your movers In some cases moving companies do not feel the need to resolve a dispute and will deny your claims. In these cases you have legal rights as a movers . For more information on your rights as a mover please visit the Federal Protect Your Move website
